There’s nothing wrong with a store bought marinade – in fact –
lots are really good, but there’s also nothing wrong with the bragging rights
of making your own either! Here are two which we enjoyed and I have used at BBQ’s
½ cup steakhouse sauce
½ cup BBQ sauce2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp Italian herbs
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ cup brown sugar
- In a
large bowl, mix all the ingredients together, to make a smooth sauce like consistency,
roll your meat in the sauce/marinade and refrigerate for at least 2 hours,
turning every now and again.
